Guitarist Aleph Aguiar and bassist Mikele Montolli bring an intimate, highly interactive duo to Downstairs at 180. Drawing on jazz, Latin music, improvisation, and deep groove, the pair create a set that moves effortlessly between composed material and spontaneous interplay. Aleph’s warm, expressive guitar meets Mikele’s fluid and powerful bass playing, creating a stripped-back format with plenty of space for musical conversation. Expect an intimate evening of groove, virtuosity and improvisation from two exciting voices of the London jazz scene.
