Trumpeter, composer, band leader, educator and writer - Jay Phelps has performed with some of the world's top names. With an instantly recognisable warm and projecting tone, Canadian born Phelps is a household name on the Jazz scene in the UK and his international presence is steadily growing.

Born and raised in Edinburgh, Fraser Urquhart is one of the U.K's foremost pianists specialising in jazz and American show-tunes of the 1920s-1950s. He brings his newest trio project made up by the outstanding Darren McCarthy on double bass, and legend Gene Calderazzo on drums, for an unforgettable evening of world-class jazz.

Down With It! is Downstairs at 180's weekly jazz jam session, bringing together some of London's finest musicians for an evening of live performance and spontaneous improvisation. Hosted by guitarist Andrea Rinciari, each Tuesday begins with a featured house band before opening the stage to instrumentalists and singers from the London jazz scene and beyond.
