Canadian-born, London-based pianist and composer Sean Fyfe brings together bassist Jeremy Brown and drummer Matt Fishwick for an evening of swinging, straight-ahead jazz. Educated at McGill University and the Manhattan School of Music, Fyfe draws on the hard-bop tradition, with influences ranging from Cedar Walton and Wynton Kelly to Bill Evans, combining rhythmic drive with melodic sophistication.
