Guitarist and composer Aleph Aguiar brings together organist Liam Dunachie and drummer Luke McCarthy for an evening of groove-driven jazz. Born in Venezuela and now based in London, Aguiar draws on Afro-Venezuelan rhythms, Latin jazz and the traditions of guitar greats such as Wes Montgomery and Pat Martino, combining infectious grooves with expressive improvisation. Dunachie, one of the UK’s most versatile jazz pianists and organists, brings his distinctive Hammond sound and harmonic imagination, while McCarthy provides the rhythmic drive and dynamic interplay at the heart of the trio. Together, they explore the rich tradition of the jazz organ trio, blending blues, Latin rhythms and soulful swing in an intimate, high-energy live set.
