Three major figures from the UK jazz scene come together for an evening of sophisticated, highly interactive trio playing. Pianist Bruno Heinen, bassist Larry Bartley and drummer Winston Clifford bring decades of experience and a shared commitment to improvisation, performing a mixture of original compositions and arrangements by each member of the group. Bartley has worked with artists including Abdullah Ibrahim, Courtney Pine, Steve Williamson and Denys Baptiste, while Clifford’s extensive credits include Benny Golson, Stanley Turrentine, Freddie Hubbard, Monty Alexander and Joe Lovano. Heinen, a professor of piano and composition at Trinity Laban, has released 11 albums under his own name and performed internationally with artists including Julian Siegel, Jean Toussaint and Tony Kofi.
