Mark Taylor is an English jazz drummer renowned for his authentic bebop style and a career spanning more than four decades. He began playing drums at the age of five and turned professional as a teenager. Taylor has performed and recorded with legendary jazz artists including Kenny Barron, George Coleman, Johnny Griffin, Pharoah Sanders, Mose Allison, Monty Alexander, Lew Tabackin, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Herb Geller, John Dankworth, and Ronnie Scott. He has appeared on more than 55 albums, including the Grammy-nominated The Mose Chronicles by Mose Allison. We are beyond excited to welcome his trio made up by Jeremy Brown on Bass and Graham Harvey on Piano to downstairs at 180 for an intimate evening of world class musicianship.
