Nico Widdowson is a London-based piano player whose style has one foot in the Harlem stride of the 20s and the other in the free improvised music of today. He has gained commercial success being featured on Giles Peterson’s show on BBC Radio 6, both Jamie Cullum and Deb Grant’s show on BBC Radio 2, Jazz FM, Worldwide FM and has been invited to play at festivals including We Out Here, Love Supreme, Manchester Jazz, London Jazz and Leeds Jazz Festival.
