Rachael Cohen is one of the most distinctive voices on the London jazz scene, celebrated for her lyrical alto saxophone sound, inventive improvisation and highly individual approach to composition. She has built an international reputation as a bandleader and collaborator, including as a member of the acclaimed collective ARTEMIS. Joining her are Italian double bassist Mirko Scarcia and highly regarded drummer Jason Brown, bringing together a trio rooted in deep interplay, rhythmic sensitivity and spontaneous improvisation. Expect an intimate evening of lyrical, adventurous contemporary jazz.
