Denys Baptiste is one of the leading voices in British jazz. A powerful and distinctive tenor saxophonist, composer and bandleader, he has spent over three decades at the forefront of the UK and international jazz scene. Throughout his career, Baptiste has performed and recorded with celebrated artists including McCoy Tyner, Courtney Pine, Billy Higgins, Andrew Hill, Julian Joseph and Manu Dibango. Known for his commanding sound and adventurous approach, he continues to push the boundaries of contemporary jazz.
